What foraging walks do you run?
We run wild food walks and courses across London, Dorset and Hampshire: urban wild food and nature walks in London parks (£50), wild food and wild medicine walks (£60), New Forest mushroom hunting (£80), plus Dorset seashore and seaweed foraging. Walks are led by founder John Rensten - author of The Edible City - and our five other experienced foraging teachers.
Can we book a private event for our hen party?
Yes. We organise bespoke foraging events for private groups and company days out across London, Dorset and Hampshire, tailored to your group and the season. Contact us on 07958 304287 to plan your event.
What will we learn?
How to identify the edible plants, mushrooms and seaweeds growing around you, their historical and medicinal uses, ethical and sustainable harvesting, and how to cook with wild ingredients - alongside nature connection and environmental stewardship. Walks last around 3 hours, with a maximum of 16 people per group.
We are complete beginners - is it suitable?
Completely. Our walks assume no prior knowledge, and prices are kept as accessible as possible - if you are low-waged and cannot afford a place, email us and we can discuss concessions, a discount or a skill swap.
How do we book, and what if a walk is full?
Book through the courses calendar on our website. Courses book up quickly, but we are always adding new dates, and places open up through late cancellations - join the waiting list for full walks and check back. Gift vouchers are available for all our walks and courses.
Where do walks take place?
London walks run in parks and green spaces across north, east and south London (locations vary with the seasons); mushroom hunts run in the New Forest, and coastal foraging on the Dorset shore. The exact meeting point for your walk is confirmed when you book.
