Monart Spa Poundbury

The finest spa in the country. We had the best day in this 5 star spa and the staff and facilities were phenomenal. All you could ask for and more. And to top it off an incredible meal in the restaurant again with phenomenal service. We will absolutely be back and we cannot recommend Poundbury Spa highly enough

From the moment you arrive, the staff are genuinely friendly, welcoming, and helpful, setting a great tone for the visit. With that and the wonderful, carefully thought-out décor, you are immediately wrapped in the relaxation of Monart Spa. You are guided through to the changing rooms, where you are issued with cozy robes and slippers, as well as a locker for your belongings, a handy carry bag, and your waterproof wristband lock. Then, once changed, if you’ve never been before, you are taken on an introductory walkthrough of the facilities. The entire place is impeccably clean and, blissfully, not overcrowded. The spa's thermal suite features a hydrotherapy pool, sanarium, caldarium, sauna, salt grotto, infrared-pro cabin, and an aroma steam room. I highly recommend visiting this spa to anyone looking for relaxation and a little escape — I will definitely be back, as will my sister!

I've always enjoyed visiting spas while traveling abroad, but this was my first genuine spa experience in the UK, and I must say it was absolutely perfect. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. I had sent an inquiry to schedule my appointment a month in advance and casually mentioned that it was for my birthday, without bringing it up again. To my surprise, when I arrived for my spa day, the staff remembered my birthday! They even gifted me truffles and included a birthday note on my recommendation slip, showcasing their thoughtfulness, which was truly heartwarming. Additionally, the spa was impeccably clean and not overcrowded. I wholeheartedly commend the staff and highly recommend visiting this spa to anyone!
