What this experience offers
Frequently asked questions
What services do you offer?
I'm Lucy, a mobile hair and makeup artist with over 12 years in the industry - including MAC's events team and the Dior UK pro team. I specialise in wedding and occasion hair and makeup, and I also love teaching one-to-one and group makeup lessons. I'm fully insured and trained.
Can you do makeup for our whole hen group?
Yes - occasion makeup for groups is exactly what I do, whether it is the full bridal party on the wedding morning or the whole hen group getting glam before a night out. I come to your home or accommodation across Oxfordshire and surrounding counties, and I also offer appointments at my home studio.
How much does it cost?
Prices depend on the services, group size and location, so I quote per booking. Email lucy@ltmakeup.co.uk or call 07903 931830 with your date and what you need, and I will confirm the price - no obligation.
Do you offer trials?
For brides, yes - your trial is where we perfect your look. Bring your Pinterest board and inspiration, take time to get it exactly right, and ask me anything about skincare prep, so on the day you and your party can sit back and relax.
What products do you use?
My kit is built from luxury skincare and makeup brands I have used for years and know to be long-lasting and photograph well, plus my most trusted hair tools and styling products.
How do group makeup lessons work?
My group lessons are a fun hen activity in themselves: I teach you techniques tailored to your faces and routines, so everyone leaves with new skills and a look they can recreate. Get in touch to arrange a date.

Lucy was absolutely fantastic to work with for our wedding!! She was so calm, kind and understanding. I felt in safe hands immediately after my trial, and Lucy managed to replicate perfectly on the day! She also helped keep us to time and was just a pleasure to have in the bridal party for the morning!! Thank you for everything Lucy - would highly recommend xx

Lucy was fantastic from start to finish booking was easy and she made contact several times before to check in before the event. On the day Lucy was professional and friendly I still hadn’t decided what dress to wear and she even advised on this! My sister and I were both really happy with our hair and make up and it lasted all day. Would highly recommend.

Lucy is just wonderful, she did my bridal hair and make up in September 2024 along with my 5 bridesmaids, flower girl and my mum. Not only did she make me look beautiful but made me feel it too! My hair and make up stayed put all day even through the tears and lots of dancing! My photos have come back and I love that may hair just looks perfect in every photo from all angles. All my bridesmaids loved their hair and make up too. Both Lucy and Katie were well organised and calm which kept everyone chilled throughout the morning. There was no stressing or rushing to get ready! I can’t recommend Lucy enough she is a wonderful person and a super talented hair and makeup artist. Thank you x
