Frequently asked questions
What does EyedoMakeup offer a hen party?
I am Jane, a professional makeup artist with more than 25 years in the industry, and I offer mobile makeup for your celebration across Dorset, Somerset and Devon - plus makeup masterclasses designed for hen weekends and girls' get-togethers, so the group learns the techniques while getting glam.
How do the masterclasses work and what do they cost?
A masterclass is tailored to your group - bridal makeup the modern no-fuss way, or an evening look with smoky eyes and lashes - covering contouring, colour matching and correct brush use, using top brands including vegan options. Individual lessons (around two hours) are £85, and group lessons are £45 per person, taking a little longer depending on numbers. Travel costs may apply depending on distance.
Can you do our makeup for the wedding day itself?
Yes - bridal makeup is my speciality, from the trial through to a calm, relaxed wedding morning at your home or venue. Single-bride packages start from £225 including a trial and lashes, with discounts for groups and midweek dates.
Where do you travel to?
I am based in Luccombe, Somerset and cover Dorset, Somerset and Devon, travelling further across the South West and UK for larger bookings - I regularly work at venues including St Audries Park and Crowcombe Court.
What experience do you have?
I trained with The Body Shop and L'Oreal and have worked in the makeup industry for over 25 years, specialising in bridal parties of all ages - including more mature brides - with premium long-lasting products so your makeup lasts from morning preparations to the last dance.
