What is a Silent Adventures tour?
It is a silent disco on the move: don our hi-tech headsets and follow your guide on a 60-minute all-singing, all-dancing walking tour through the city. Expect theme songs and favourite hits across the decades, with your inhibitions evaporating as the public watches in awe.
How much does it cost?
Our public Edinburgh Silent Disco Adventure costs £18.50 per person for the 60-minute guided tour, booked online. A booking fee is added at checkout by our booking provider, and tickets are non-refundable except if we cancel.
Can we book a private tour for a hen party?
Yes. Private tours run for groups of around 20 to 80 and are our favourite ice-breaker for a newly formed hen group. We also offer private silent disco parties (a £100 non-refundable deposit applies) and kit hire. Email shh@silentadventures.com for a quote.
Where do tours start?
Our Edinburgh tours usually meet at The Piper's Rest, 3 Hunter Square, EH1 1QW, just off the Royal Mile; arrive 15 minutes early for your headsets. We also run tours in Glasgow, London, Liverpool, Manchester, Newcastle and Cardiff.
What should we wear, and what are the rules?
Wear comfy shoes and bring water; fancy dress is encouraged but inflatable dolls and anything offensive are not. We have a zero-tolerance policy on alcohol and drugs during tours, and anyone under the influence who is unsafe or obstructive can be refused. Tours run in the rain.
Can children join?
Children over 5 can join public tours (under-5s are not permitted), and children aged 5 to 15 travel on child tickets accompanied by an adult. Most hen groups book the private tour so the playlist and pace are all theirs.
