These evening sessions run for around two hours and pair step-by-step painting with a thoroughly relaxed, drinks-in-hand atmosphere.
You don't need a shred of artistic talent. the guidance keeps everyone on track, and the focus is squarely on having a laugh while your masterpiece takes shape. The events are held on specific dates in the evening, so check the calendar and book your group in. they fill up quickly.

What happens at a Paint & Sip party?
Our two-hour parties are fun, casual and completely beginner-friendly: pick from over 300 paintings (or all paint the same one), and our professional artists guide you step by step with one-to-one tips while the music plays. Canvases, paints, brushes, aprons and easels are all included, and you take your masterpiece home.
Can we book a private hen party?
Yes - hen parties are our speciality. Private packages start at £29 per person (minimum 15 painters) for a two-hour tailored class, including free room hire at prestigious venues across the North East (from champagne bars to hotels) or at your own rented property - travel charges may apply. Malmaison and Hotel du Vin are £35 per person. Drinks and food packages can be added at some venues.
Can we just come to a public night?
Of course - we host ticketed public paint and sip nights, tote bag painting and our new Jigsaw Mania 300-piece puzzle nights (from £15 per person) in bars, hotels and restaurants from Newcastle to Durham and Morpeth. Public paint nights are ticketed per event - recent nights were £22 per person, or £27 with a drink included.
Do we need any painting experience?
None at all. 'Fun art, not fine art' is our motto - most of our guests have not picked up a brush since school.

We are the North East's original paint and sip company, established in Newcastle in July 2018, with over 1,400 classes and nearly 20,000 artists so far.

Two friends and I went in with honestly less than beginner levels of painting and all left with something we were really proud of making! The staff are absolutely lovely, very friendly and knowledgeable but most importantly, encouraging and not taking things too seriously which was just delightful to be around. Thanks for a great day!

My friends organised the best hen do for me with the paint and sip in Newcastle. Had the best time ever would highly recommend. Staff were all amazing

I’m extremely disappointed with this company. They’ve cancelled a paint & sip booking I made for a friends hen do. The cancellation was done 2 months after securing the booking with a deposit, due to the guy running our session booking a holiday even though he had us booked in for this event. They’ve left me with limited time to replace this activity for something else for a group of 15 people. I would not recommend them based off my experience. I thought they were quite unprofessional especially considering I had to email them to get an answer as to why they’ve cancelled.
