What is the Introduction to Natural Perfumery workshop?
A full day (10am-4pm) immersed in natural scent at our studio at Setley Ridge Vineyard, Brockenhurst, costing £125 including all materials. You will explore the history of perfume, natural versus synthetic fragrance, essential oil personalities and perfume structure - then create your own natural eau de toilette (a 50ml bottle) to take home. No experience is necessary.
When do workshops run, and how big are classes?
Workshops run on selected dates through the year (see our website for the next date) with deliberately small class sizes, so book early - dates sell out. Tea, coffee and biscuits are provided; bring your own lunch or visit the on-site farm shop or café.
Can a small hen group come?
Our workshops are welcoming for individuals and small groups of friends learning together, which makes them a lovely, calm hen activity. For anything bespoke - or our one-to-one perfume consultations - call Debbie on 01590 622422.
Who teaches the workshops?
Debbie Mulkern, our founder - a qualified aromatherapist for over thirty years who has taught natural perfumery workshops in the UK, Hong Kong, Australia, Singapore, Norway and Malaysia, and develops bespoke fragrances for wellbeing brands.
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancel more than 28 days ahead for a full refund or a rebooking onto another date. Within 28 days we cannot refund unless someone else fills your place.

Great workshop experience with Debbie. She made us feel very welcome with tea/coffee/biscuits and cake on arrival. Her presentation to a small group of 8 went very well, sampling natural essential oils and their varied uses. We learnt the history of fragrances /scents over the past years and their origin. Eventually we got to choose and mix our blends to create a 50ml bottle of eau de toilette... great fun ! It made you realise the complexity of perfume making mixing and blending natural essential oils to create an amazing aroma. I now know why perfume is so expensive. It's inspired me to experiment at home to create my own fragrances. Well worth a visit!

Found a small bottle of New Forest Aromatics Mint, Lime and Lemongrass probably brought back from a hotel. All natural and organic. Only small amount needed. Creamy. Very good and great scent
