What happens in a cocktail making class?
Our recommended class runs for two hours and is 100% hands-on. You start with a complimentary reception cocktail, learn the background and fundamental techniques of mixology, then get behind your own fully stocked bar station to make four cocktails. The class finishes with a competition, where each bar creates its own original cocktail to be judged.
Can you come to our hen house, or do we come to you?
Both. We have purpose-built venues in Covent Garden, Shoreditch and Fitzrovia in London, and our mobile cocktail classes travel anywhere in the UK, from houses and gardens to offices and manor house grounds. For a mobile class you simply need an empty space for us to set up in; we bring the bars, equipment, liquor, fresh products and ice.
Is the class suitable for a hen party, and what group sizes do you take?
Yes, hen parties are one of our specialities, and private classes can run at any time, seven days a week. We host groups of any size, including large classes of 40 to 150+ guests, with no more than four or five guests per cocktail bar station so everyone stays involved throughout.
What if some of our group are not drinking?
No one gets left out. There are non-alcoholic options for each cocktail, and we also run dedicated non-alcoholic classes using independent and well-known non-alcoholic spirit brands, so non-drinkers take part in exactly the same way as everyone else. Please note that under 18s cannot attend a class in any capacity.
How does booking and payment work?
Private bookings are arranged through our group enquiry form or by phone, with a dedicated event organiser looking after your event. A 30% deposit confirms your booking, and the final balance is due seven days before your class, once numbers are confirmed. Public classes in Covent Garden and Shoreditch can be booked directly through the calendar on our website.
Where are your London venues?
Our flagship Covent Garden venue is at 15 Maiden Lane (WC2E 7NG), minutes from the Piazza and Charing Cross. We also have our long-standing Shoreditch home, spread across three floors, and a Fitzrovia venue available for larger private bookings. Between them they cover central, east and west London itineraries.

We had such a fantastic time at the cocktail-making experience in Covent Garden! We came as a double date, and it was the perfect mix of fun, laughter, and great drinks. The host was engaging, knowledgeable, and made everyone feel involved, whether you were a complete beginner or had made cocktails before. The atmosphere was lively without feeling overwhelming, and we loved getting hands-on while learning how to make delicious cocktails. Everything was well organised, the ingredients were fresh, and the whole experience felt great value for money. If you’re looking for a fun date idea, celebrating with friends, or planning a group activity, I couldn’t recommend this enough. We’ll definitely be back!
