We are the UK's first and only battle bar, on St Andrew's Street in the heart of Cambridge: adrenaline-pumping games alongside cocktails and street food under one roof. Step into the Battleground for augmented reality axe throwing, augmented reality darts, Crazier Golf, beer pong, shuffleboard and pool, or book our private karaoke room and screech the iconic hits where nobody else needs to hear you.
Can we book Boom for a hen party?
Hen dos are on our occasions list for a reason. Our BOOM Bundles bundle the experience together: game time, drinks and street food from £27.50 per person, available all week. Planning something bigger? Get in touch at cambridge@boombattlebar.com and we will help organise the perfect event for your group; even decorations can be arranged if you ask us before your booking.
How much does it cost?
Our all-inclusive BOOM Bundles start from £27.50 per person for game time, drinks and street food; individual games are priced per activity when you book. To secure your spot we take card details as a hold: we only charge £10 per person if you do not show, cancel with less than 24 hours' notice, or arrive more than 15 minutes late. We are a cashless venue, so bring a card or contactless.
Is there an age limit?
We are strictly an over-18s venue after 9pm. Before 9pm under 18s are absolutely welcome but must be supervised by an adult, and under 16s must be with an adult at all times. Axe throwing is 18+ at all times. We operate Challenge 25, so if you look under 25, bring valid ID; nobody wants to miss out on the fun.
Do we have to book, and what if our plans change?
You do not need to pre-book to come in: walk-ins are welcome, and we hold a limited number of walk-in tables first-come, first-served. But if you want to play, pre-book games as we cannot guarantee slots on the day. Bookings are non-refundable; if life happens, email cambridge@boombattlebar.com at least 24 hours in advance and we will do our best to reschedule.
Where are you, and when are you open?
You will find us at 36 St Andrew's Street, Cambridge (CB2 3AR), near the Grand Arcade (its car park is a six-minute walk) and a 20-minute walk from Cambridge station. We are open 12pm to 12:30am Monday to Sunday, and until 1am on Fridays and Saturdays. Call us on 01223 944281.

Was great, madi was the best as our bar tender and our games lady. Now I’ve been many places- I’m 93! But no one or no place has proded so much chat and fun! Have a loook at how much my friend and I are having!!

Had a fantastic time at Boom battle bar. Played the darts and the shuffle board which was such good fun! The cocktails were lovely especially the life’s a peach, thanks to Maddy and Abbie behind the bar. the food was also so good! Especially the carbonara bites! A special shout out to James who was so lovely and friendly and made sure we had everything we needed.

Great experience at Boom Battle Bar Cambridge. We dropped in over the bank holiday weekend for a drink and a game of shuffleboard before dinner and ended up really enjoying the atmosphere. The location is central and easy to find. It was already busy when we arrived in the early evening, with a DJ playing music and lots of groups having fun across both floors. It felt like a really versatile venue with couples, friends, families and party groups all there at the same time. Staff were helpful and service at the bars was quick, helped by having one on each floor. There are loads of games to choose from which makes it a great place to spend time rather than just have a drink. I have been to the Oxford Street branch before and although this one is smaller, it still has the same energy and offers a great experience. Would definitely visit again.
